Have this and we like it. Yes plastic components but it's been durable with no issues for a couple years. The magnetic attachment is plenty secure and has a little lip that it's actually resting on a bit.

I bought this in 2018 and it just recently broke. I contacted Moen Customer Support and they're sending me a brand new one! "Buy it for looks, buy it for life" slogan is a real thing!!

Got this last time, ordered another one like-new for $22. Had good luck last time with Amazon Resale. There were three flow restrictors that were easy to remove without any damage.

I had problems with this leaking from the inlet. Every time I hand-tightened it onto the spout, the gasket would roll causing it to leak. Tried 2 different units and not sure if the problem was on my end? Had to reuse the gasket off an old shower head that was conical vs. flat and that fixed the issue.

I have a similar Moen with a larger head. The magnetic feature on mine works well, but I wouldn't buy one again because there's no pause function

Any information or links you could share on removing the flow restrictors? I have this from a few months back.

FWIW, this has overall worked fine for me, but I somewhat regret not spending a the extra money on a 2-head type.

From the Amazon reviews, but I just used a paperclip with a small bend for the first two and a pick from Harbor Freight [harborfreight.com] from the last one.

A small amount of silicone plumbing grease on the gasket helps keep it from rolling and/or bunching up.

They asked me where I purchased and when, asked for the model number, but that was all. They did not request documentation.

I just installed one of these at full price from a plumbing shop. I greased the gaskets with silicone and used teflon tape on the plastic threads, whatever people say about that, as long as you don't use too much of it it helps it screw together. No leaks.

Installed two of these. Both have been reliable with no leaks. However, with one of them, the water temperature drops considerably in one on the spray patterns. I assume this is partly due to some issue with the plumbing, but it seems to suggest a flow variation that's interacting with the plumbing.

Interesting seeing this here. I have had this the past 3 years. Mine broke just last night. The plastic that attached to the metal pipe from the shower wall snapped in half. For the price it is ok, but I will be at home depot in 3.5 hours from now. Trying to buy something more durable, preferably metal.

The generic ones are about $10 on a l i e x p r e s s. Just takes a few more days for time in transit.
