It's not often I see Front Page Deals for products selling above MSRP, but I guess here we are.

Volume 1 and 3 are not discounted to that level. This deal is to entice you to buy the entire series. I will still check the book out since it looks very interesting.

Does this explain the role aliens have played in our history or is it just more propaganda from big archeology?

I am reading the paperback Sapiens now. A really great book if you like history. Some of the stuff is conjecture but most of it is based on good quality research.

Absolutely loved Sapiens (re-reading it now) but did not dig the graphic novels much at all, not sure why.

I certainly wouldn't sub these for reading the book.

I'm just finding out there are graphic novels. Who is the target audience/purpose of them? Is it supplementary info or is it really strong pictographic tutorials?

Obviously you need the book to explain concepts but I could see an important place for a pictographic to explain exactly how long it takes for plants and animals to adapt across latitudes versus longitudes for example. Other than corn I can't remember the exact details and examples. I'd love to have a pictograph I could flip to when I'm trying to wrap my head around a specific evolution or population expansion.

Dude's a crook. Not much credibility in what he spews. He is an AI expert nowadays.

Say more. I read the wiki page on him and I don't have a good idea of what his angle is. Is he just not a serious historian or is there something about him that makes him more malicious?

Yuval Noah Harrari is known for being the 'sidekick' of Klaus Schwab, the executive chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF). The WEF is notorious for having annual meetings with their 'stakeholders' and then 'mysteriously' many governments around the world start doing the things that these 'stakeholders' were discussing at the annual meetings.

With that being said, this book is REALLY well written and I highly recommend reading it, despite what you may feel personally about Yuval Harrari.

I found them to be geared towards kids too much. I was also interested for the same reason as you stated - a LOT of the material he covers could be well served by diagrams and graphics. And the graphic novels have that, but the presentation turned me off I guess.

I concur with this Amazon review (except maybe about the graphic detail - was also underwhelmed by the art and design):
"Cute, creative, and extraordinarily detailed graphically. But after "loving" Sapiens, this was underwhelming in terms of getting the messages the author has to present."
