yes. Most of us would like to pay Disney multiple times though (VHS> DVD> BR> HDX > Disney+ > 4k digital, 8k, etc)

As a fellow Hawks fan i feel your overpaying pain. I've pretty much stopped buying HD copies unless it's a rare movie that's cheap and may never get a 4k restoration.

Apple upgrades your HD purchase to 4K for free if a 4K version of the same cut (I mean regular, directors, extended etc) of the movie becomes available. Has to be through them though not Movies Anywhere.
