The Acer has a 2 year warranty. Dell is a better brand but not sure about how much of a difference it makes on low end machines.

I ended up getting this one for 225 after the coupon. The only downside is lower performing processor but all this is all I need

Be aware the RAM on this one is not upgradeable.
LPDDRx is never upgradeable.

I raise the point because you were asking about upgrading to 16gb previously.
