i got them for $30 and have been using them for about a year as my subway headphones. they're beats so it's bass heavy, battery life is alright (only had them die on me twice and they charge fast). they're not good about communicating the charge level to my phone, so I charge them every 2 days or any night before I do a longer commute. I like that I can drop one out at any time because of the cord, i like that they clasp with a magnet. I've used them for long walks and short runs too but i don't know if i would consider them the best choice for that.
good for making every teenager that sees you look at you like you are a million years old for not using airpods though

These earbuds have developed hair-thin cracks that will gradually spread across the parts.

Nice earbuds but not rated for sweat. I tried my luck and used them for the gym and they failed within a year.

Had them for 4 days now:

Kinda meh unless you listen to bass heavy music, hip hop and edm generally speaking, mids are meh and highs are little more meh than that, but bass makes up for it, so the quality is dependent on your use case.

I'm not really happy with the ear tips, I find them slipping out of my ears after an hour or so. I ordered the memory foam ones reccomended on another comment so I'll try them when I get them.

The magnetic heads do securely latch and they stay safe around your neck if you're not actively wearing them. Also, they feel pretty durable and can be stuffed into a pocket inbetween uses quickly and pulled out as needed.

There's 2 identically shaped control bumps/pills so you can't tell which one is left and right by feel and the tips aren't labled, the one with the charging port is on the left and the power button is on the right so you can learn which one is which that way. The charge port is open so it can sweat in it I imagine. The double bumps can also be awkward if they're in the wrong position on your neck and they can make the ear buds slide out if you're moving your head alot, like while cooking or eating or working out. They're fine for sitting still as described in another comment, which can be great if that's what you need them for.

I use Sony XM3s primarily, but I wanted something less bulky but with more battery life than true wireless ear buds, I'm pretty unhappy with these beats tbh but I'll give them a try with the memory foam ear tips and hope they make the experience better.

Update: Turns out I had some compatible memory foam ear bud tips laying around (same brand) and they do improve the sound quality and experience of the beats flex. However, I also got these delivered: https://a.co/d/b7h178J and THEY BLOW THE BEATS OUT OF THE WATER, the tips on these were even worst so it's really crappy out of the box, but once I applied the memory foam tips on them I was completely amazed at the sound quality, the volume control wheel is a nice touch and the on/off is whether or not the magnet heads are latched to each other. If you have an android, the software and equalizer options plus the spatial sound really added nice sound stage. Not appropriate for every listen, the options degraded the podcast and audio book experience, but man did it really make psytrance pop. I am 100% returning the beats flex because the CMF Nothings have better (for me) on device controls and much better sound quality (with the same memory foam ear tips).

Oh and the microphone works better and is clearer (tested on android sound recorded)

Better battery life too I think

you're right. I thought they were the older model beats x. Probably took the beats x and replaced the lightning port with usb c and called it the flex

Regardless no ANC and can't take the sweat

they're just too fragile. I've had two pairs & sound is good , battery life good. BT connection perfect.
they don't look or feel cheap - won't last 6 months. superglue/baking soda can't save em. one pair was from apple store. 2nd pair was $20 on eBay - don't recommend these

"superior connection"?

Please explain.
These use a proprietary Apple wireless chip, not generic Bluetooth (although they have that too)

These are not water resistant or anything. If you sweat a lot, don't wear them to workout. It'll break.

I like the form factor though. Harder to lose. Not a lot of selection to choose from nowadays. They were popular for awhile. Wonder if there is still a good pair out there?

This is the normal price. I have owed over 10 of these over the years and the sound is great for me. I usually buy them off eBay for around 20. I can tell you that 39 is not a deal. These are like 10 year old technology and have been at this price at target, Walmart and other retailers for quite a while.
I have been waiting for a price of 25 or less before I buy more. I was hoping they would drop the price on BF but it didn't happen. Still they are good headphones that can take a lot of abuse....though not as much as I dole out..... that's why I have brought so many over the years. Smilie

I don't think they are worth it. This design has been known to fail and brake. My wife had the previous beats like this and they broke. I have these but to me they don't sound that great so I rarely use them. I would say save your money and get other headsets.

THE proprietary Apple W1 chip?
For a "seamless pairing with an Apple device" makes it superior?
But never about the audio quality?

You are correct. The other person is thus incorrect.
