This game has been free for over a decade (since release), and it gets very expensive when purchasing other tracks and cars. Not sure if a game that is at regular price, even if free, would be a "slick deal"? Assetto Corsa is typically less expensive if you match the game car for car and track for track. Also, IMO, AC is much better.

There are a bunch of VR racing games. I got a wheel at one point and tried several. Assetto Corsa looked the best, but made me feel sick (unusual for me). Dirt Rally 2.0 didn't look as good, but felt great to drive in and was the one I had the most fun with.
Edit: I recognize neither of those are free, but they are easy to find for a couple dollars and don't require micro transactions.

"Additional cars, tracks, and liveries can be bought individually or as packs inside the game store using an in-game currency called vRP"
So this is basically an ad at best.
