To combat "infant mortality" I wrote the full disk once each, then wiped it. I think with low tier brands doing a test write first is a must.

Speed still matters, a Samsung sata will sustain maxing out the interface, cheap qlc ssd even if m.2 will choke on hard work loads down into double digit/low triple digit territory.


This kind of stuff is just pure cheap storage at minimum price, that being said team group has 2TB for just double this so its not that cheap per TB.
