Ultra2 did come with O2 sensor up until January 18, 2024. I'm wearing one now.
Just curious even though it has O2 sensor wasn't apple able to stop its functioning through eventual updates?
It depends on the model you bought. The Ultra 2 units released prior to the lawsuit outcome have the original model number and the O2 sensor still works. After the lawsuit, new stock used the new model number for the same hardware, but the O2 sensor is disabled in software.
For refurbs, it's a crap shoot which one you will get. Not sure how well vendors dealt with new retail units with older stock in the supply chain as the new stock was being added.
