These prices has been getting lower and lower. This was the Black Friday price. I am guessing the M4 version is imminent. I bought this after Christmas from quick ship. More than happy. If you need a good laptop. It's hard press to find better value than this.

These prices has been getting lower and lower. This was the Black Friday price. I am guessing the M4 version is imminent. I bought this after Christmas from quick ship. More than happy. If you need a good laptop. It's hard press to find better value than this.

I'm still using my 2020 M1 8GB and it works great...

I think I'll hold out for 16GB and M4.

no. its like 1600MB/s vs 2200MB/s for the m1. the m3 is 2800Mb/s.
I don't notice a difference above 500Mb/s when using sata ssds..but i dont do any heavy hard disk tasks

no it isnt. they stop supporting older devices with software..2018 isnt even old for hardware. people run the 2012 macbooks still
