Honestly a fantastic little game. This is a roguelite space shooter with tight gameplay, good customization, great graphics, and it's just plain fun. I also really recommend Everspace 2. It's a modern version of freelancer.

This is REALLY good in VR, and its such a shame that the new one (also EXCELLENT) does not offer this as well.

The fact that it's a roguelike rather than a space sim is a bit of a turn-off for me. I'll probably wait for Everspace 2 to go on sale, which is supposed to be more of an open-world space sim in the vein of Freelancer.

Think of Everspace 2 as more like a single player Destiny 2 spaceship game. It's really, really good as well if you're not into the "X number of runs" that a roguelike brings to the table. Still, for a buck, might be worth it.

It's roguelike, but it has progression and a real story that they weave into the concept quite well

wanted this for PS4 (to play on PS5) since I plan to get Everspace 2 on PS5 as well...but $1 is hard to beat hm...decisions..
