Never cheap out on the wall mount. My friend can tell you from first-hand experience.

Of course? Who pays someone else to install something so simple? Cheap metal will bend, and you will pay in the end.

I am using two, I thought of installing mental mount model over the fireplace…due to cost of $1500 for two mental mount ones… I thought I will do these temporarily just $20 each.
At the end these become permanent.
I think some fancy tvs offer free installation.

Same - must be dead?
Point is, new LCDs are LIGHT/LIGHTER than 20 years ago when they were like 6" thick.
However, if extending out, I would not do that with a 65". The torque on the wall bolts may be okay if hitting a stud, but the joints of this mount may not last.
Nevertheless, thanks, OP. IFO for a 43" LCD.

It's more about the weight than size. The size is to help people ballpark how large of a tv they can put on the mount.
Naturally if you are pushing the larger dimension or weight, make sure that thing is anchored on the studs on all four screws.
