Exactly that. That's why I opted for iPhone SE 2022. It simply saves me $$$$$ Don't need the latest nor the greatest flagship.
For my business and pesonal use, I own 1 iPhone 15 and 2 Galaxys. To be frank, the only reason why I am not letting go of iPhone is because of thousands of dollars worth of contents I bought on iTunes store. Nowadays, without any doubt, high end flagship androids have better hardwares than iPhones.
But eBay has plenty of these for even lower prices & free shipping. Just make sure it says "new" and it's from a reputable seller & not a very long shipping time (i.e., from China).

eBay has plenty of these for cheap because they're mostly knock offs.
If you don't care about your earbuds sounding like buzzy garbage, you can find USB c headphones for significantly less.

Cheaper than these? That might be tough to maintain quality. Maybe JVC Gummy or Sony MDRs but they're starting to be hard to find.
Or just cheap but good? There are a ton of very good "chi-fi" IEMs with mics in the $20-30 range that blow these away. But you've got to like the in-ear canal style.
Something like the Moondrop Chu II with the USB C cable would be an amazing choice
