This is a Skil set, not Craftsman…
Here - drill works fine. Drives screwdriver bits, drills holes in wood, etc just fine. Dual chuck sizes, so you can use most drill bits. Nice how you can adjust the drill to stop upon reaching a certain torque. Light is fair - I wish it was more than one bulb and brighter, but you can see.
Multitool. Just like the https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zpxMi__
It's not the most powerful or vibration free, so level 5 or lower for lengthier jobs. Else vibration isn't nice. Depends on the blades, so good carbides etc will make cutting easier and quicker. Still, included blades had no issues chopping apart two 10 foot 2x6 into smaller sections for disposal. Definitely not the tool to use for tree roots, which is the reciprocating saw's point.
Reciprocating saw. It's ALL about the blades, so the 9 inch Diablo (was part of another recent deal posted, white blade, a small cuved beak at the tip) is the meaty blade to cut apart buried tree roots, cut off tree branches, etc with ease. If you dare try with shorter, lesser blades, expect a shitty-slow-slog.
Speaker (Not part of this kit). Works fine. Can go loud enough indoors to be heard across a aingle story, and be annoying. Not JBL Flip level - that's even louder with more boom. A touch of EQ here (minus 1000k-2000k range) is needed to bring forward the voices in music, but otherwise decent. No annoying beep on startup, but present on Bluetooth connection and shutdown, though not as loud and annoying as on the JBL FLIP. No way to disable, unlike the Flip.
Battery. Quick charge is nice. Keeps jobs going in 5 minutes. Usb port - can use any usb-a cable (for the batteries that come with usb-a. Newest models have usb-c) to recharge phones lile a powerbank, nice!
.....
Overall, not the Best of any on the market (eg if you want low low vibration for the multitool on max power, this 12v ain't it., but generally good to very good considering the performance to price. Contractors might want to test this since it's cheap, but might need the 20v system tools later on. (Eg 12v impact driver will definitely be underpowered.)

Milwaukee M18 and M12 guy too, but I bought this kit to have tools the rest of the family can use or borrow. Milwaukee gets locked in my storage box, and Skil is out in the open. We have found this kit to be more useful than I initially thought. The batteries can recharge our phones quickly, and the lights kept us safe during a 4 day blackout. I also used the drill and impact to do some overhead work last week as I didn't want my Milwaukee tools to get covered in drywall dust. They worked well enough that I didn't feel the need to ditch them and grab my Milwaukee. For the average homeowner, this set is a fantastic deal even at 199, I got it for 150, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again at 199 after trying it out. Even the circular saw worked well for cutting down an old bench to fit into the trash, I wouldn't use it for bigger cuts, though, as it will bog down.
The reciprocating saw is just ok, but I am comparing it to my Milwaukee M18 Fuel Hackzall. Recently got the M12 Fuel Hackzall, need to use it more, but so far, I'm not impressed either. I bought the M12 Fuel Hackzall for our motorhome to go along with the rest of the M12 line I have, the M18 Fuel line stays home. If it wasn't for the new 1/2" 550 torque Milwaukee Fuel stubby, which is beyond awesome, I could probably just switch to this Skil set for my motorhome tools.
Efit: The inflator is also very good and accurate, not as fast as my Milwaukee M18 inflator, but just as accurate. I like it better than the Milwakee and Dewalt inflators for our bikes as it has a normal bike pump end to it instead of the screw on straight connector, both the Milwakee and Dewalt have.
Of course you won't get the performance of M12 tools here, but I really think these are good enough for the vast majority of what most homeowners do. I didn't really want to get into another battery ecosystem but now I'll keep an eye out for deals on other compatible SKill tools, especially the little hackzall clone. These really aren't bad, and they're well worth the sale prices we've been seeing.
