The 399 deal on eBay has the newer head and 2 year warranty included.
Overall, and with the exception of the fluffy head which actually did look like it might have been refurbed, my unit looked pretty much brand new. The fluffy head is great for hard floors and the laser is no gimmick. I can't say how well it would work in a brightly lit room, but in low to no light situations, it's pretty cool. It's kinda crazy what that thing reveals that would never be seen with the naked eye.
Edit to note that my unit arrived with a couple of attachments in addition to what's listed on Woot's site. I can't recall of the top of my head what they were, but I'm sure there are some details in some of the Woot threads. I think it was the soft dusting brush and a stiff bristle brush.
Has some design improvements and is newer than the v15.
Thanks for the heads-up. This is confusing since it mentions "Laser Slim Fluffy cleaner head" in the description and "Fluffy Optic Cleaner Head" in the "In The Box" section. 😵 💫

Does it just need a new battery? I got a generic battery from Amazon and now my 7 year old V8 is better than new thanks to improved, denser batteries. Max mode runs for much longer.
