I have Premium subscription that expires on april 2nd, and if i buy the auto renew now, it charges me $159. Even if i cancel, it says my subscription will run til aptil 2nd. What can I do to get this price?

pc gaming with multi monitor set up is so much better, being able to check my emails, video streaming, watch youtube, run cross platform gaming, endless storage options, all at once by the way. Plus no need to have another console collecting dust. I own multiple consoles. Im no longer a prisoner of any particular corporation. Yes its possible to do all this with a phone now however its like comparing driving a ford fiesta from NY to LA vs driving a BMW 7 series from NY to LA. Both cars will get you there but the experience is not the same.

Couldn't re up premium on this it's charging full price. Hopefully they keep similiar pricing as this is more fair. Going into holiday season if it is Premium $100 , Extra $85 , and essential $50 that would be 👍

Haven't had PlayStation Live since the $59.99 a year/40 bucks from a Slickdeal almost any time of the year days and I have never looked back. I've always done my gaming on the PC but I enjoy my sports/racing games on the console a little more — plus, it was always nice to have live for the occasional "I feel like chillin on my bed and gaming" days, but I am NOT about to pay almost a hundred bucks just to be able to get online, Sony has lost its mind.

As an existing member I tried and it charges $159. How do you 'renew'? I currently have premium and can't add another year. If I didn't have it, I could buy a year, but that would make me a new subscriber. Just curious how you renew? Even if mine lapsed before 2/24 and I let it expire, then purchased this I would still be a new subscriber. Title is misleading, unless I am missing something?

Title should say "returning" subscribers, not renewing.

That being said, if your subscription is going to end before the sale end date, I imagine cancelling/turning off auto-renew will allow you to sign up for the discount once your subscription end date has passed.

Coming from playing PlayStation since ps1 so i am talking from my experience. Mods, add ons, emulation of consoles, access to discontinued games, gray markets to games, piracy 🤭. Mods alone is strong reason to be on PC games. modded skyrim, cyberpunk, xenoverse, genshin, monster hunter, i could go on. PC parts are expensive but at the same time you get what you pay for. Real 4k, 60fps, Ray tracing, path tracing, frame generation experience compared to whatever consoles provides. Thats just off the top of my head, there's much more PC potential.
