Is this honestly considered a "deal"? I've purchased maybe 2 angle grinders in my entire life (44 years old) and neither time did I spend more than $50. What would differentiate a $35-$50 angle grinder from a $75-$125 angle grinder?

It's a great deal for people who grind concrete for floor coatings or tuckpointing. This is the long lasting dust proof motor. If you're doing basic metal cutting you can use a cheap grinder.

I don't see that this is advertised anywhere as a "dust proof motor". Where did you get that info from?

Dude. This isn't Harbor Freight garbage. Metabo is the cream of the crop when it comes to angle grinders. Like the guy said dust proof motor and it will last a lifetime.
