Is it worth the $60? 2 gb ram and 128 GB? It already has an SD card slot.

Thank you. Mostly, this is for my 8-year-old kid, hoping $100 difference is worth trying.

What content makes it "slow and laggy"? Very curious. These specs should be more than enough for what this tablet is for

For most people, no. I still have an "old" s7+ and it's plenty fast, plenty of storage, screen is gorgeous. Just can't find a reason to spend money on an upgrade. For the vast majority of people something like this plus a big sd card (if you need it) is more than sufficient.

and yeah...and this price, there's zero reason to get an "A" series tablet at almost any price.

For $60? I think the answer is yes. It's nice to have the extra storage and ram on these tablets, even if you have the SD card slot. The bit of extra 2GB ram helps the overall performance of the tablet and the double the storage space is worth since that will help with larger applications and games that will preform better on the native storage vs SD card.

Point and counterpoint. Either way, both are a great value.

That we can agree on! The price of this tablet in either configuration is great.
