Big F&F fan here. We've watched all of them a few times. It's not just the plots, it's getting to know the characters, too. While some are better than others (my opinion) they're all great action movies and worth a watch. The latter ones get a bit crazy (car made into rocket ship) you have to understand that's just the franchise -- a bit crazy. We only go to one movie at the theater and it's when the new F&F comes out.

For me, $4/movie (physical + streaming) is a deal! (except I already have them all)!

The character Sean ("American kid") did come back in Furious 7 in a surprise twist.

I only ever saw the first 3. Are the other 7 worth watching? Did the American kid in Japan on Tokyo Drift ever get tied into the rest of the story or was that a one off?

Don't know. I think I only watched the first one and parts of the second one. I like cars, women and chase scenes in action movies; but this series never held my attention. Always felt too corny with the avg acting and plots.

Maybe one day when I'm bored and it's free somewhere I'm subbed to; I'll watch it.

Is it free anywhere?

From what I remember the only part that tied him and that movie to the rest of the franchise was Han.

Pretty sure I got 1-8 in 4k bluray for $35 not long ago from gruv. Food for thought for those with 4k capability.

The rest are mediocre and made for a low IQ audience with over the top action scenes and simple plots.

You're better off buying the 8 movies collection and earlier because the digital code for the earlier collections redeem in 4K if you care about the digital copy. Since the 9th movie, Universal stopped using iTunes code.

I think I'll wait for all of them to be released and wait another 10yrs to get the whole set at a discount. But the way they're milking this cow, it may take a while for the franchise to actually conclude.

No check engine light if you put a sticker over it
