They reformulated, messed with the scoop/serving size to compensate for it(Check Reddit or YouTube user accounts on this) and those bastards try to get away with charging sales tax when it's exempt where I live.

I had to fight back & forth with them and get PayPal involved over the sales tax, but I got the last laugh..Ordered 22lbs worth of isolate and it was insanely delayed circling around a USPS distro center for days because they use a cheap ass 3rd party courier to handle the last leg of delivery that they dispatched another 22lbs and both packages turned up. I've got protein for a year but will never order from them again. Got it for next to nothing, too because I also had a coupon from when they canceled a ton of orders over a pricing discrepancy from a sale they didn't want to honor a couple years ago. F them.

Any studies about heavy metal content in this brand of protein?
That's an issue for plant proteins, of every brand. Whey comes from milk.

If it helps... I like this flavor and having it for last one year. I don't go for general Whey though, I use Isolate and no complains. Ask me anything if you have more questions Smilie
Thanks, I am just doing this based on my nutritionist saying I need more protein as part of eating more. Don't need the fancy isolate stuff.

I have a lot of Chocolate Brownie shakes coming up. Also mix w/oatmeal.

Worked for me... on Chocolate Brownie. On the fence, this is cheap... 11lbs is a big commitment to one flavor. Not sure which to go with.
I didn't like any of their flavors after a few weeks. Just kept tasting aspartame. I go with unflavored and add honey, milk, and cocoa powder. It's delightful.

i liked the chocolate versions minus the mint. the mocha is a good option too. i stocked up on that on the last isolate deal. unflavored is also an option and you can flavor it to your liking

Thanks... ended up ordering mint, then cancelling and ordering the chocolate brownie. I usually put in oatmeal and then make shakes with them, powder, water, ice and a bit of almond milk.

Only works for 1 bag, but I'll take it

Imo brownie is too strong, miss chocolate smooth, hoping milkshake is closer to that.

Right. The last time there was this deal I got my husband the fruity cereal one and he hated it. But still drank it (and is still drinking it!). He mixes it with almond milk to help 😬

In for 1. Got an 11 lb bag of unflavored whey concentrate for $64.80 after tax. The last decent deal I've seen for this exact same order was $72.67 after tax in November 2024

I hate my protein more than almost any other company on the planet. They scan and scam and scam deal after deal. Don't trust these fools.

back in 2018, i was paying $0.30 per ounce. now it's $0.40 per ounce. Inflation calculator tells me 2018 pricing now is $.38 so honestly, not that bad!

also, for anyone curious, the best one to even the playing field is how much protein do you get per $1 spent.

For this, you get 52g of protein per $1 spent. I did the math for Kirkland from Costco 32g of protein per $1 spent (check my math. # of scoops per package* grams per scoop / cost in $).

So overall, this is a much better deal than costco.

I bought this last time it was on sale a few months ago, 3 bags of mocha and brownie, and it's awful. The artificial sweetener is overwhelming. It reminds me of sweet n low from the 1980s. I highly suggest you avoid this crap.

Sucralose and Ace-K riddled. I assume you're all health nuts, why put so much artificial sweetener into your diet? Genuinely curious.

I still have 22 lbs left from that 33 lbs for $100 deal last year.
