One inverter supports 120V & 240V and has an exceptional 7200W output, allowing you to run almost any heavy household appliance, even a 3-ton central air conditioner. JIMO.
Spent $1500 on 14kw of battery. Imagine having $3500 to figure out a good 48v inverter that can be recharged via solar, etc.
If you're willing to pay a lot extra for simplicity, I guess this is a good deal?
Figure ~10hrs or so actual on a 1000w constant load.
If just needing to run a full size fridge (~150w) and maybe recharge phones or a laptop, 24-30hrs use.

.. if we will even have one.
Very likely, but it depends on the size of the air conditioner. Based on my calculations, you could comfortably run a 5-ton AC unit with a good margin on the specifications. However, depending on efficiency, it might only last for a couple of hours. One smaller window unit or minisplit would be more reasonable.
so you'd get about 10hrs on one of those with this battery.
That's a lot of money for 12kw.

I would go Costco and tax credit. Picked up one of their smaller Delta units directly from them via Amazon on a recent sale and it had issues and they are zero contact, no support after multiple attempts reaching out.
It's worth a slight premium for Costco's level of support should anything go wrong, as for me I'm out almost 500 bucks.

From what I heard Costco is no help either in case of issues because it sold directly by manufacturer (they call Costco direct) and Costco simply asks customers to talk to the manufacturer to resolve issues

For big hvac unit the starting current may be too much. If so, you can install a slow start circuit on the hvac unit.

Anything over 3kwh you can get the tax rebate on.
