He gets bombarded with nonsense by chuds all day long (which seems to be the norm for any public facing person in games media). If that was my life I'd probably be blocking people left and right as well! Only so much time in the day to entertain people who want to "spark discussion".

To be fair, if your career is journalism, there are going to be people that disagree, but are being genuine about discussing. Hes using Social media to share his articles, but blocks anyone that says anything to contradict his point. I'm no journalist, but I'd be open to critique. We can only be stronger by listening to their points of view. Something society lacks pretty hard here days

You're acting like people use Twitter for good faith arguments and productive conversations rather than insults and death threats. Gamers are one of the most toxic groups out there. I can't imagine what his inbox must look like.
