They did have a sale on a very similar Caphalon set for $149. Same size pots and pans, same number of pieces. The main diff I saw was the brand. KitchenAid set had the slotted lid for straining and then measurements on the inside of the pot. But the deal has expired now.

Looks like only the base is triple layer? I know some of the KitchenAid sets at Sam's/Costco used to be fully clad. If so, probably worth spending a little more for a fully clad set. Especially considering the longevity of a decent SS set vs typical non stick.
