Anyone give this one a try? I had the EM680 and it was plagued with bios and heat-related issues. I never could get it running right again. I'm hesitant to get another one, but this one does look better spec wise.

This deal seems like a miss compared to what has come in the past, the 8 core should be this price now.

Good enough deal? I have a family member in need of a new PC who likes the mini form factor. Basic home PC stuff, nothing major.

Good deal or not good luck getting them to ship in any reasonable time frame. "In stock" is meaningless there.

This does not heat up like the EM680 which is a very small form factor and lacks cooling for the ram and SSD. I've read any review and user feedbacks and one of the main reasons for EM680 issues are its ram and SSD gets pretty toasty and starts throttling during prolonged workloads. This is a lot bigger device and has adequate cooling for CPU, ram and SSD.

I have this PC. Decent so far. Main, yet minor, issue I have is it will not sleep. It is a known issue with this unit, as I have spoken to others with the same problem. The Chinese tech support is not great.

This checks a lot of upgrade boxes compared to my N100 mini which I paid $110.
HDMI 2.1.
2.5G Lan.
Extra full M2 NVMe slot.
DDR5 memory.
