I think Tesla employees need to learn English better.
They do not know what does "Autopilot" or "FULL self driving" actually mean." They're making their own vocabulary of these words.
Also, NEVER EVER purchase Model Y. It has the worst suspension in car industry.

Resale going to be horrible with the head of the company turning off over half of the world. Sales plummeting almost everywhere.

Yeah, do not buy one. Because the stinkeye you're going to get and the resale value is going to plummet soon.

I own a Tesla and thankful I bought it in 2021 because the quality has just gotten worse everyone is right. My car thankfully hasn't needed anything serious but all my friends with 2023 and up are just complaining constantly. Tesla can't even tell you what their warranty even covers (I had many plastic parts falling apart at delivery and those were fixed for free since I refused to sign it until everything was fixed) but now that the warranty is still there for another year, they won't fix the same pieces they fixed at first. Back plastic in the cargo area keep popping off. Is a luxury car (was in 2021)with a " premium audio " supposed to knock off the plastic pins so it rattles? Got the parts on Amazon fixed myself for 22 dollars they wanted 190 dollars.

I also don't trust a company that sold me a car with a 330 mile range max and "magically updated the software to epa regulations" to 312 to be my max. Nobody has sued because of this? They can do anything they want with our cars and I love my model y but regret it as I have to deal with these bozos if I need something. Thankfully I have had no other issues other than an alignment (at 15k miles which is odd,) and replacing a skid plate (which I've never done on any car in my life and I had a car that I sold with 215k miles at one point) and had a shop put an aluminum one. No issues since. Total expenses in 3.5 years 345 dollars. But frustrating nonetheless.

I will never buy one of their cars again. Too much bafoonery

As an actual buyer of EVs, this is a bad deal.

1) Poor build quality - see the Nissan Ariya or Lexus RZ for what EV build quality can be like (quietest cabins you've ever sat in)
2) Massive depreciation - better deals to be had for gently used lease returns where 50% of the car's value has already been taken off
3) Swasticar/Deplorean status - enough said
4) expensive level 2 driver assistance subscription ("full self driving" is incredibly expensive at $100/month when other cars like the ioniq5 and ev6 can use comma AI or other proprietary level 2 subscriptions cost $10/month
5) Slower DC charging than ioniq5 and ev6

Where to look for best deals on used ones? Aside from Craiglist/FB marketplace

Any reputable auction sites that sell these?

It is actually a very good news that many people dislike Model Y / Elon Musk, which means the price will keep dropping, hopefully to $40k? With $7500 rebate, that will be a pretty good deal. So, the more Tesla haters the better ...

I would wait for the new one if I wanted a model Y. This is not enough of a discount to get something that will be outdated soon. Tesla doesn't update their cars often (physically, I am not talking about software) so when they do, you should go for the more updated version.

With that said, I have already owned a Tesla, and will never buy one again. I love EVs but the workmanship on a Tesla is terrible, one of the worst I have ever owned. With Tesla opening up their charging network to most other companies, there's really no reason to buy it anymore.

On the other hand, I still have some Tesla stocks, so buy it.

EVs are tanking. Just look at the resale values on these junkers. Repairs are stupid expensive.
Insurance premiums are rough as well?

Definitely check. For me a Model Y would have been about 50% more expensive on insurance than a Rav4.
