I'm rocking an Ultra but this watch is pretty solid from what I have reviewed. Lots of functions are locked to Samsung phones though. Skip if you are on iOS altogether.

I bought a Galaxy Watch 7 when they were first released. Traded in my Watch 4 which I loved. The Watch 7 was a nice upgrade in style, speed, and battery life.

About 6 months in, it stopped working. I sent it in for warranty repair and Samsung says they detected damage from being dropped. I don't remember dropping it. They want to do an LCD replacement for $100+.

I never responded to their offer. Eventually they shipped it back. It's currently sitting on my shelf.

Agree. I bought this through samsung trade in and pretty much paid for it this same price. I don't have samsung phone but other android phone and it's very frustrating to use. The gesture works half of the time, sometimes it doesn't response and other times it would just activate itself. I need to use timer a lot and so many times it would just cancel my set timer by itself ( i think it must have mistakenly recognized my hand movement when walking as double pinch ). Lately it also keeps disconnecting from my phone even if both in the same room. Call feature is convenient but more troublesome than good, doesn't matter if i take my call from phone or watch, first 20 seconds of the call always have no voice, no sounds until i switch on speaker. Right now for me it's just expensive, glorified heart rate monitor and steps counter

FYI this watch will not work on Verizon as a stand alone line. Learned the hard way.

The battery for me was about 3 days with minimal use when I first got it but when I changed the face to something more interesting for more information, it started eating the battery like crazy. It lasts maybe 2 days at best and more like a day and a half.
