I was in Home Depot today the jugs of oil there is about the same price at everyday price.
How is this a good deal?
Slickdeals has become not so slick anymore.
Where are the days when it was Free after rebate (Not too long ago I got some during Covid) or even $1-2 per quart? The price of a barrel of oil is going down all over the world yet these oil companies are charging high prices. We are becoming puppet consumers and why are we letting big corporations control what we buy and do, even run our government? Sad day

Oil is supposed to be good for 5 years, so I used to buy a bunch.
I see Mobil 1 doesn't have them regularly (or if at all) anymore.
I may shift to stockpiling Kirkland when I go through my remaining Pennzoil and Mobil 1 jugs.
LIkewise, not all of my rebates came through...or I forgot to use the VISA GC.
I'm glad people provide historical sales as context but I've bought 12 quart boxes for $40 so I know how low it can go. However if I need oil now, I need it now, lol.
