Version 4 is supposed to come out soon. If you were these kinds of shoes you probably know that already. I like the 3. Great shoe for a 5 or 10k. Got to go with the alpha fly for the 13.1 or 26.2 though.

I've also bought several colors of these at a local Nike clearance center for $99.

Version 4 is supposed to come out soon. If you were these kinds of shoes you probably know that already. I like the 3. Great shoe for a 5 or 10k. Got to go with the alpha fly for the 13.1 or 26.2 though.

V3's are trash compared to V1 and V2 … hopefully the V4s get them back on track .. I'd still take any of the Vaporflys over the Alphafly horse galloping pontoons .. if the V3s were around $100 I'd buy another pair for the hell of it but you can always buy a pair of Saucony Pros on almost any site for $100 or less if you get previous year models

It's similar to an outlet but they generally have more popular shoes just not in as many sizes or in the same quantity. An outlet might have 100 boxes of the Pegasus 41 in multiple sizes but a clearance center may have 5 boxes of vaporflys in 5 different sizes. Both going for the same price of $99/each.

Why on Earth are these so expensive? I get that the vapor Max has the softer plastic air cells on the outside. The vaporfly just looks like foam and material.

These are made for racing, not training. Could easily get 5 marathons out of these.
