Version 4 is supposed to come out soon. If you were these kinds of shoes you probably know that already. I like the 3. Great shoe for a 5 or 10k. Got to go with the alpha fly for the 13.1 or 26.2 though.

I've also bought several colors of these at a local Nike clearance center for $99.

Probably... I think these shoes are so good that they were almost banned from competitions. You don't want to be running against a Nigerian guy that is wearing these shoes in a marathon 😭

I guess you have to be a very serious runner or some sort of moron to buy these since they are basically made from paper mache. If you have ever felt them it seems like they would fall apart in the rain or after 10 minutes of using them on a non rainy day.

Has anyone been to the Nike Clearance Store in San Leandro, CA? I've been wanting to check it out, but kinda far from me. Not sure if it's worth the journey.

I've been really loving the VF Next%'s. Took awhile, though. After 100 miles in them, they seem to finally have broken in. Picking up a pair of the 3's. Hopefully the outsole lasts, as I'm reading some pretty bad reviews on em.

This is a great price on a very elite shoe. As it has been said, you don't train in these. These are for your half and full marathons. They weigh close to nothing. They're not "cheap" shoes. They have different purposes and runner profiles than the alphaflys.

They might be coming out with the 4s soon but that's not always a good thing. The alphafly 2s were widely panned compared to the 1s and 3s.

At 160$+ this is the cheapest I've seen for a competition shoe. If you're training for a race for the first time this year, get these for your PB runs. You'll notice a difference, it will give you confidence. Moreso than goos aftershockz goodr sunglasses, etc. most competitive shoes are 250+
