I bought this last week, and it has been great. Nice for a little 16oz mug of coffee.

Can you comment on the coffee quality that comes out?
It holds a 3.9/5 rating, makes me nervous. I don't plan using the grinder, so $29 is a good price for a single serve size drip coffee maker. But only if the coffee quality is good.
I've used Aeropress in the past but wouldn't mind a little more convenience.

Not OP, but from experience, machines don't really make sense unless you are brewing a large carafe at a time. Whatever little bit of convenience offered by a single-serving machine is quickly dismissed by the fact that you have to clean said machine after each use to keep them from getting gross. A simple pour over dripper cone can be found offline as little as $5, makes arguably better cup than a machine, takes up no counter space, and is a 5-second rinse to clean.

I can understand that. But my office cube is a good distance from the bathrooms and water, and I'd still need a kettle or something to warm the water, or it's automatically a trip to the bathroom area to microwave some water, then back again to dump the grinds, etc.
Just looking for that balance of convenience to quality coffee.
Yes, my office area sucks.

It is not that hard to clean up. You mainly dump the grounds and rinse the basket. This machine is pretty quick, and I have used it with grounds and beans. It grinds a few pulses and then starts brewing not too long after. It's pretty nice to plug in, hit the power button, grind and brew button, or power on and brew button. It makes a decent cup of coffee. So far, I prefer whole beans, and I have a nice bag of whole beans for weekend mornings. The only gripe is travel mugs don't fit under the brew head, but the included travel cup works fine.
