Buyer beware with this store on Newegg. Ordered the 2TB version of this drive back in December. They shipped from China and had a bootleg shipment tracking website which eventually claimed to have delivered the drive (after 3 weeks) but I never received it. When I filed a complaint with them, their recommended solution was to ask my neighbors if they had my package. Newegg, which I have used for years, was also not helpful in getting my drive or money back. They don't have an option on their return support for when you don't receive an item. Once you submit the return request, it basically puts it in a waiting for return status. In other words, they are waiting to receive the item back in order to issue the refund.
Eventually, I just had to do the chargeback through the CC, but man what a headache that was to deal with.

Nope, too late. Prices have surged.
WD 4TB sp5000 was $189.
You missed the boat.

I bought this exact ssd. It lasted 30 seconds before going into permanent read only mode with ssd software indicating a 100% failure of the drive.

Besides I paid $145 so this isn't even a good price.

This drive uses the problematic Innogrit IG5236 controller with known problems. And Kingspec being an overseas chinese company, I doubt they will honor their warranty. I would stay away.
