looks like the normal price for the past 60 days
Be aware, they just toss these in bubble mailers to ship- which would be fine but they are otherwise minimally packaged for retail sales. My first one arrived crushed, so I encourage buyers to inspect contents ASAP.

Can corroborate. Got a 4tb Crucial a few weeks ago, and it arrived in a big box without even any bubblewrap.... Getting errors asap when using it. Going to return I guess. sigh.

So basically, Best Buy pick up in store is the best option for this deal if it is available for you.

I got the 1 tb one for $64.99 back in mid January on Amazon. It took a long time to get it however.

I've noticed more items being shipped in bubble envelopes lately—sometimes for things I wouldn't expect, like a stainless steel cooking rack. Luckily, mine arrived flat and undamaged, but I'm guessing that was just good luck!

For delicate items, especially tech that ends up sitting outside on porches, bubble envelopes might not be the best choice. A little extra protection would definitely go a long way!

Yeah, I just spent an hour and half dealing with Amazon to return a 4TB Crucial ordered from them via a deal here a few weeks ago....

And it's a pita, ... I don't know why they ship them like that, got immediate errors on multiple systems and diagnostics, was out of town when I ordered, so thankfully fell under the return window, but... ffs... they wouldn't allow a simple "return and replace", so I had to order another, (at higher price), then have to return the other to another physical location, and then have to talk to them after to insure they process the return, credit my account, (and rewards $/points), and hope it all ends up even steven, but it's bs that Crucial isn't allowing easy returns through Amazon etc....

Actually, you are wrong - my Amazon purchase history says so. X9 Pro 2tb, $119. Beginning of January.

And… it was $88 a year ago: https://slickdeals.net/share/iphone_app/fp/893146

Is this pretty much the new / current price for an external USB 3.0/3.1/3.2 SSD? Or at least the new semi-frequent sale price?
