Since Xbox had $15 on Ultimate edition, and the ultimate edition (in this case its genuinely the complete edition with everything) was decided like literally last month after a LONG time (finally!), I would wait until ULTIMATE edition is $15 or less. The standard or deluxe is still missing a lot of characters that its ultimate or nothing. Unless you want to support the company, that's a different story. This will probably be the best value for this generation considering the inflation and DLC.

All other equivalents from other companies look like they will continue their DLC or micro transaction ways for the moment until the next cycle, which means it wont be for some time. WWE looks like they will simply discontinue the previous 2K(year) in support of the newest iteration in what I call offscription releases.

Yes. It is. I think they are about to release a new game fatal fury city of the wolves this year. But this is the "new one" for many years. Ultimate edition was just released, prior to that had to buy things separately. Unfortunately I spent $26 and missing 1-2 items, so this ultimate edition is the one you want to get everything. Wish they had an upgrade path to discount that 1-2 items. So I'm locked from those costumes. Get the ultimate edition $15. The standard is missing like half the roster.
