Contracts are never a deal. And yes, monthly credits are effectively a contract.

Also, Fi is overpriced for what you get. Why anyone uses it is beyond me.

Ability to easily move esims which is essentially impossible on at and t without getting them involved. Once they flag an account for 'suspicious or fraudulent activity' aka just moving your esim more than once a month, it's an insane fight against their unaccountable fraud division each time to lift restrictions (only doable by the account holder and often in person). I'm assuming the esim moving process is similar on T-Mobile but I'd rather not get involved with another big carrier. I thought about Mint but read that their esim moving process is not at all seamless and can result in having to rebuy esims
