I have two of the wireless mint mamba switch version. Both times I got open box for around $30 and they are like new. Best keyboard I've ever used. I love typing on it . I got one for my office and liked it so much I got another one to replace my Razer Ornata at home

The first keyboard has mechanical switches (hot swappable), the second one (with mouse) is a membrane keyboard.
If you do not game or don't care about mechanical, then you may be better off with the combo.

Big fan of Redragon stuff. I've been using the K556 for about 4 years now. Key caps have been replaced but that's about it. Their software isn't great but it's not needed.

I recently got the k697 wireless linear keyboard and I wasn't expecting much. However, I was pleasantly surprised how well built it felt and it felt nice typing. I use it for my console, so I can't comment on their software.

Anyone have any recommendations on a mechanical keyboard for an office? I'm looking for something really quiet but mechanical I can use in my office. I heard the Red switches are quietest.

I'm new to mech keyboards but want to get a decent one. How does this compared to Epomaker RT100 that's going for $38 now?

Yes, they are about the least noisy of all mechanical switches but compared to "regular" keyboard they still sound loud.

I got some red dragons KB for a work project. A bit for people to get used to but but now they all love it. Small bit of money made a big impression.

ETA. for those who like a volume knob, check out KOORUI brand too. They use a off brand switch but the price is very good https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BZH6T...tle_1&th=1

You should try more keyboards! I'm not being condescending - if you enjoy this, there's a whole world of mechanical keyboards to discover. Maybe someday you'll be inspired to build a custom one of your own (don't be intimidated - it's like Legos, and it's increasingly affordable).

I have several RedDragon keyboards. I specifically bought them because they have on board memory and I can save and run macros without having to install any software. They have worked well.

I think I have that exact keyboard. I wanted to get a mechanical keyboard for work but didn't want to shell out a ton for it. I wasn't familiar with the koorui brand, I figured it was just one of those weird Chinese Amazon brands. The keyboard is great, very nice feel in the keys and it's pretty quiet. I had gotten another generic mechanical keyboard before for a home workstation, and while it's better than a regular membrane keyboard, it's louder and rougher than the koorui. One thing about the koorui, it was defaulted to Mac format when I got it, so there was a few days of thinking I'd gotten a bad product before figuring out what the issue was.

I guess no one cares about the quality of the switch that the board has anymore. For those that are old school with mechanical keyboard these are clearly not Cherry MX red switches. They are generic "Red switches". Doesn't even mention a decent knock off of MX switches… pass.
