I considered this but went with the MSI oled 175hz instead. Heard all good things about this one other than a single gripe about brightness

Are you referring to the Msi MAG 341CQP QD-OLED?
According to Newegg they both have the same brightness...250/1000 cd/m2 = 250/1000 nits
