A similar Streamlight might cost $100.

I have not had a Wurkkos or Sofirn fail and even have many no name generic china lights are still going strong after ten or more years of use and abuse.
Why would I want more expensive when I can have multiple light in various form factors and function where I need them for still significantly less cost than one Streamlight?
Streamlight also seems to want to suck you into proprietary batteries that you can only get from them which I find very weaselly and money grubbing in a world where low cost 18650 is becoming standard.
WK03:
Neutral color temperature
Excellent color rendering
18650 battery (possibly pocketable)
Lightweight for size

TS23:
Lots of output (briefly) for size
Very cool color temperature
Poor color rendering
21700 battery (higher capacity, not pocketable)
Heavy for size

Wurkkos and Sofirn are great value brands. I just picked up a Wurkkos HD10 for around $20 and it has anduril 2.0, rgb aux lights, magnetic tail cap, USB-C charging port, extra o-rings, headstrap, battery, IP68, 90CRI, selectable color temp, TIR, and probably something else I'm forgetting. The quality is there, everything is tight and works. You cannot beat that for a functional little $20 light that also lets you play with Anduril.
It absolutely crushes most ****fire lights.
Sofirn has similar bargains, especially something like the SC13A.
Nitecore..... Really? They have some cool lights but proprietary (non-removable) batteries are a no-go for me unless it's something truly unique.
It isn't very bright and the small switch on the side isn't easy to use while wearing gloves and has no tactile feel so you end up inadvertently switching brightness when all you intended was ON-OFF.
I have a similar size Nitecor at work and it has the rear button which is easy to use when wearing gloves.

For example, one of their newer releases, the Nitecore EDC31. Also, their older i-series come to mind.
It's pretty well-known that Nitecore, O-light, and a few other mfrs do this. Doesn't mean they aren't good lights, but it's something to take into consideration since a battery replacement can mean shipping the entire light back in some cases.
The light you mentioned is also a dual-fuel light, which can take 18650s or CR123As. That's more of the exception than the rule I would say. Just something to be aware of when perusing the Nitecore (and O-light and some other) offerings.
