Because they are cheap only in price. They are not "cheap" lights they are high quality, well built lights with great fit, fisinh, function and durability at a low price. They are nice lights that cost significantly less than any of the makers you list.

A similar Streamlight might cost $100.

I have not had a Wurkkos or Sofirn fail and even have many no name generic china lights are still going strong after ten or more years of use and abuse.

Why would I want more expensive when I can have multiple light in various form factors and function where I need them for still significantly less cost than one Streamlight?

Streamlight also seems to want to suck you into proprietary batteries that you can only get from them which I find very weaselly and money grubbing in a world where low cost 18650 is becoming standard.
i love wurkkos flashlights i have a bunch of them, great quality at a budget price, this is for sure a great price comming from amazon and not waiting for them from china
The TS23 is indeed bigger, it's a jacket-pocket only light while the WK03 could be carried in a pants pocket (it's still larger than I personally want in a pants pocket, like all 18650 lights that aren't a Zebralight).

WK03:
Neutral color temperature
Excellent color rendering
18650 battery (possibly pocketable)
Lightweight for size

TS23:
Lots of output (briefly) for size
Very cool color temperature
Poor color rendering
21700 battery (higher capacity, not pocketable)
Heavy for size

This flashlight is $12.99 with free shipping if you buy two at the company website. This must be some shill stuff. You can buy 2 from mfg for about the same price as one from Amazon.

Can the battery be replaced or is it soldered in.
Considering that you can buy it with or without the 18650 battery..... not soldered in.
Also, Wurkkos doesn't do that, at least not that I'm aware of.

Would this be good for keeping on my keychain?
You can see the size in the image above, it's rather large for a keychain IMO, but I guess that's for you to ultimately decide.

I use flashlights all day long. If we are counting in hours of run time. Then my lights run at least 3 hours out of an 8-hour shift. So, multiply that by a work week or month.
I have used all these Chinese lights that everyone says is the best. I have over a dozen broken sitting in a drawer in my toolbox.
The people who keep pimping these lights will never use them as much as I do.
If I bought 12 $40 cheap Chinese lights, that is almost $500. I could have bought 3 good Streamlights and backup batteries. Which would actually have a warranty that would be honored. Oh yeah, the warranty on these Chinese lights, well good luck. It's a toss up if they even get back to you.
You know what doesn't break? My Streamlights.

Who do the police and firefighters use for their lights? It isn't some cheap flashlight.

Again, different LED. Maybe clearing out the older version of this model?
Also, again, please provide a link to the $12.99 WK03 that is gold colored & has the Nichia 519A LED like the one in this thread.

I dont actually think these people are real shills, they are just trying to justify their own purchases.

Have FC11C, do i need this @@
It depends it you want a brighter light than the 11C. I have both, the FC11C sucks in the way of the yellow colored light output. If I didnt have to pay shipping back to china Id send my 11C back. I like the light but I wont tolerate the dismal output listed as 5000k, in the real world its more like 2000k.

Might want to read up on Color Temperature (Kelvin) vs Light Output (Lumens) before spewing such nonsense.

FC11C has the Nichia 519 LED with universally praised neutral tint and high CRI. It's Color Temperature is 5000K (what you call "sucks in the way of the yellow colored light output") shake head and 1200 Lumens output in Turbo mode (what you call "I won't tolerate the dismal output listed as 5000K") Ha ha

When I turn on a flashlight in the dark, especially outside. I expect it to illuminate the surrounding area with a nice bright output. All of my other geek flashlights do this with ease. Except the 11C which resembles my grandpa's old Eveready flashlight sporting twin D-cell batteries. I could care less about a Nichia 519, to me it isnt cutting it. Send me your address and I will gladly send you this light free of charge and I'll even pay the shipping. Its a pretty green one. Someone may as well enjoy it.

newbee here. So Nichia 519 LED is much better than of SST-40 since WK03 has 2 versions? I'm SD learner.TIA. It's long shipping at amz, shipped and sold by Wurkkos, ETA 3/21. I found 3 different options/prices in amz. Confused.
