I've always used Corelle plates, the classic white ones. Rarely did they break with 3 kids growing up. Recently bought a set with the black trim around the edges and they are complete trash. 2 days in my daughter dropped a plate and it shattered into a million little fragments. I was totally shocked. The white plates have been dropped so many times I stopped counting and nothing ever happened to them. On top of this, the new ones are also chipping along the edges and the black paint is coming off. Did Corelle stop making the indestructible plates they were always known for?

not getting free shipping. it shows free once I hit $99 before the code, but once you apply it the free shipping resets and says you need to spend $99
yes, for me too...kinda kills the deal a little. It wants $10.99 to ship via UPS for the order of $60. I do see the post by StrawMan86 says FS is on purchases of $99 or more...but not sure if I really wanted to buy that much lol

Does this stack with sign up 15% off? Thanks and reps.
Just tried...Not stackable..States that it can not be used with existing discounts...And it looks like you have to have at least $99 after all discounts are applied to get free shipping

I told my wife that this is a great deal. She said we already have a lot of dish sets where are you going to put them? (In an angry and frustrated tone) I said it's stackable like the deal. She responded that a divorce will be a deal breaker for me. I'm a slick deal addict.

Is it worth waiting for 50% off like they did 2 months ago?
The 15% won't stack, but I ordered a set a week ago. While adding items to my cart with the 35% discount, I hesitated and waited a day since I wasn't sure about spending over $100 on plates, especially knowing they sometimes offer 50% off. The next day, they texted me an additional 10% off coupon code that worked with their 35% coupon code.

And also, don't forget cashback websites. Last week I got an additional 8%.

New Corelle is most certainly not like the old. I have some plates that my mom gave me back many years ago and they look brand new. I bought a set from Amazon three years ago and the edges are all chewed up from the dishwasher and three of them shattered just like you described when my kids dropped them. My sister is currently on a mission to find me a set at a thrift shop of the vintage good stuff 😂.

I can't speak to the chips or paint, but I have some from the last decade and the "paint" does NOT come off. I also broke one. They are very hard to break, but if you shock them JUST right they do explode. Sorry they aren't doing well for you.

We have been using Corelle products - particularly the "Vitrelle" type. They are awesome and we love them. They are light-weight and very durable. Even if they are few dollars more, it is worth it
