The Specialty Coffee Association publishes a list of approved brewers that meet their strict criteria for water temperature. None of these machines is on that list. The Breville machines are probably best if you want the maximum level of configurability, because they allow you to set your desired temperature. Personally, I use an SCA approved Zwilling machine because I found it on sale. It gets plenty hot.

I've had this for almost 2 years and it's been absolutely great. We haven't done any maintenance on it and it's still going strong. We've had 2 kuerig fail after a year each so it's been great.

I think he must mean the Instapot K-cup machine. The white one that shows up in the initial picture.

This sounds like a great deal and while I do not have experience with that particular machine, I have also moved on from official Keurig machines after I had several fail after roughly one year of service. I went with Ninja though.

You have to ask yourself what kind of coffee you like. I have the Nespresso mini Essenza, which is part Nespresso's original line. It brews espressos and lungos. The Pop Plus is part of the Virtuo line and is geared toward the American market. It will brew several sizes of coffee from espresso up to a 12 oz cup of "American" coffee. Just be aware that the Virtuo line requires Nespresso capsules only. The original line accepts capsules brewed by other brands like Lavazza and Starbucks. Both make great cups of coffee and are easy to use.

My Instantpot is at work, so I can't measure the temperature, but the coffee is definitely streaming from the cup when it finishes brewing.

This is a legit question. I have the mini Essenza and microwave the creamer before adding the espresso. I do the same thing with the Keurig. Only my Moccamaster is hot enough for me. I do love the Essenza, though. Fifteen seconds in the microwave does t bother me.

I can't recommend the the Instantpot K-Cup maker -- every single cup of coffee tasted watered down. I tried different pods with varying amounts of coffee per pod (9-12+ grams) from light to dark roasts and even on the smallest cup setting, everything was watery. I gave up on using it for coffee and it just became an automatic hot water dispenser for my powder based drinks like hot cocoa and ginger lemon tumeric tea that don't require boiling water.
