I've been wanting to play with a WiiM device for a while now but I just can't let myself impulse buy their products at these prices until my three Chromecast Audio devices loose support. That will be a very sad day

Also, they pulled the 10% coupon. Sometimes, they start the lightning deal and the coupon is still active until they catch it. Good stuff to anyone who could grab them with the coupon added.

This is a HUGE upgrade, but I agree the CCA was the shiz for its time. I love the WiiM app..it just works...signed in to my Qobuz account, and have lossless bliss synced all over the house.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't jealous. I'm sure I'll be diving all in on WiiM within the next couple of years. Everything I've read and watched about them are praise worthy (to say the least).

The coupon was just under the price/free returns language. I still see it on the amp pro but no longer see it on the Wiim amp. Bummer if they already pulled it. It took off $29.90 from the lighting price for me.

I feel fortunate to have avoided the whole Sonos ecosystem...wasn't comfortable with the proprietary, overly complicated hardware and closed system despite my goal for synced sonic ubiquity. Dodged an expensive bullet. it will be extremely difficult to top a WiiM/Qobuz arrangement for a long time. I'd love to retire my bulky amps in the study and bedroom to these svelt units, and repurpose my existing WiiM's to other rooms, leveraging the TV soundbars as 'amps'.

Same here with the Sonos ecosystem. They seemed to be unbeatable but any setup that is that limiting just wasn't ever going to be for me. I much prefer to be able to implement my own passive speakers anyway. I have plenty of Google smart speakers around the house which is fine but that's not what I'm streaming from when I want to hear high quality music streams.

I'm glad WiiM broke into the market and just hope they can continue to build on the foundations they have set up. More options for us is always a good sign for things to come
