So I'm a big fan of Rick and Morty and the humor. Unfortunately wasn't a huge fan of this game, it has some funny moments but the actual gameplay/combat was mediocre for me. Not saying it's a bad game or not to buy it, at this price it's worth a try if you like Rick and Morty but personally just didn't enjoy the gameplay mechanics. Several "fetch" style quests etc just aren't what I was expecting but again the humor is there so if that's what you're looking for you may enjoy it.

Loved this game. As stated before, if you like Rick & Morty then it's a no brainer to get. If you don't like that humor it's probably worth skipping.

I really wanted to like this, but just like so many of the reviews say, it gets old really fast. For me, it got old immediately. I played through the first two bosses and didn't laugh once, and didn't have any fun with the gameplay. Within the very first fight, I knew I wasn't going to like it, because it just felt like the most generic "move back and forth and shoot" combat. I quit after the second boss. It wasn't worth anymore time.

It's funny how people are downvoting comments like yours and mine. They're just our own personal experiences, and yet we're somehow wrong and they're right. Lol. I upvoted you and someone took it away. I didn't go around downvoting people who said they like the game. People are going to downvote this comment, too.

I don't play many first person shooters but quite enjoyed this game. For one — It's the perfect length. Combat is not hard — other than one boss fight that suddenly was too tough. The game is not laugh-out-loud funny, but you'll get a chuckle out of it now and then. More than the humor, I appreciated that the tone is light and breezy. Most shooters are too dour. This one doesn't take itself too seriously and that's part of the fun. Pure gameplay mechanics may not be as refined as accomplished shooters, and so you'll definitely find folks who'll find it to be 'boring'. But I think this game's appeal lies elsewhere. As a package, this game is light-enough, funny-enough, different-enough, to make it good-enough to play.

This team tried something new and they ought to be applauded just for that. In a genre littered with lookalike games, this game will leave an impression. Definitely recommend, especially at this price.
