I got this mouse in 2020 it was really good for the time especially hitting some tough COVID days. However, 2-3 months ago it started flaking out on me and not tracking correctly. I did use it a lot so i'd say a mouse doing good for 4+ years is not bad at all. I paid around $60 for it then so $35 is a great deal.

Not to make things difficult, but the Razer Basilisk V3 is $39.99 on Amazon. Both are excellent mice, but the Razer has better feet, cable, switches, and lighter. The G502 Hero is a legend (the G502 line) and I do favor Logitech over Razer, but this time I went with the Razer and not disappointed. At this price I really want to buy it, but what am I going to do with two mice? Check both of them out!

Bought this earlier in the week at Best buy with 20% recycling trade in of an old mice. Came out to $31.02 after tax. One thing to note is in store is $1 more but you can probably price match it.

My 6 year old 12K G502 is still running strong.

Definitely no Mr. Jangles, but it's a hard performance, longevity, price point combo to beat.

Left click doesn't work very well after 4 years (2 years of moderate gaming and 2 years of light gaming). It was very good when it worked well. By that point, most people buy a new mouse 😅

Double click issue ended up getting this smashed on the floor. Not sure how often it happens but something to remember if your single clicks start double clicking as it ages.
Got this for $9.19 in 2022 so totally worth it for the two years I had it.

The mouse is awesome. I have the wireless one as well.

Highly recommended. I own about 3 of these for the past 6-7 years and never had any issue other than the sheathing has pulled apart. Not a big deal because it still works just fine.

How does this compare to using the G305 lightspeed wireless mouse? I've noticed it seems I lack fine precision with the G305, like it jumps over too many pixels, if that makes sense

I'm on my second g502…

First one was the original non-hero and lasted many years. It failed due to the double click issue. You can open up the mouse and replace the switches yourself to save money, but it was worth it to me just replace it.

Now I'm on the Hero version. Bought in Nov. 2021 for $35 and still going strong.

Actually bought another as a backup for when this one fails. Great price for a great mouse!

Quote from revoc :
The MSRP ($80) is laughable. This mouse is ancient.
Its been updated multiple times over the years. This isnt the same mouse that was released in 2014...
