Buddy, if you want to stick to the Chinese brands, then just stick to the Chinese brands. You don't need to show your loyalty here. Sony is a Sony, just like Toyota is a Toyota, Apple is a Apple.....and I can go on & on.

Bought this tv from Costco in December. Great reasonably priced set. Came with the 5 year warranty. It's the same price right now so you may be better off with Costco due to the warranty. I paid $1399. Wish I could get a price match but it's outside the 30 day window

This TV is clearly doing battle with the like of the 20-30 percent cheaper TCL QM8 and Hisense U8N
No doubt the Sony has better picture processing...but probably worse black levels and brightness than the Chinese companies have

LOL....that is most certainly the reason one of the last TV's I purchased is the Sony A95L and then before that the Samsung QN800C and before that the Samsung QN90C

I do own a Hisense U8H

But if I had so much loyalty why would my other TV's be Sony and Samsung..?

I think its amazing what types of assumptions people make from a couple of sentences on the internet...dont you?
