Main thing about AirTag 2 will be better range but probably more expensive , but the originals work mostly fine for this price its a steal to keep for use on luggage etc

whats the Duracell issue? You mean Duracell batteries dont work because they have a coating to prevent kids from swallowing it? Takes me 15 seconds wiping the battery with an alcohol wipe and then works fine

I'm using Duracell with the coating and not having any issues. Didn't have to wipe off or anything, just works OOB

Can you track them on the Website like you can iPhones, or do they still force you to use an iPhone to track the Airtags?
That's the only reason I hang on to this old 2016 Se.

Duracell worked directly with Apple years ago when AirTags first came out and changed the bitter coating placement. Hence the large "Compatible with Apple AirTags" graphic on the 2032 packs. Don't post incorrect information.
