Easy reason. Someone makes a counterfeit overseas for like 75 cents, then repackages it in counterfeit "name-brand" packaging and sells it for $15. That is over 1000% profit margin.
I read these threads to see the alternative deals from Big Box places like Best Buy or the manufacturers where you know the product is legitimate. Pretty sure I'm done with Amazon for name brand tech stuff for a while.
