Good deal and remember that Best Buy open box has full manufacturer warranty and also their protection plans cover burn in.
This depends on the manufacturer. I bought a vizio tv that had many issues. Vizio refused to warranty it at all because it was open box.
LOL, you said "I have a need" but are just a scalper/reseller. Dishonest one at that.

If you sit relatively close, consider the PPI. I had a 42" oled tv as a monitor, and I didn't like the pixels per inch at all…

Is this documented on a Samsung website somewhere that they recognize Best Buy open box as retaining full Samsung warranty?

I'm currently using the LG B4 48inch Oled as a monitor and it's been great for the month or so that I've had it.

Just remember that many Best Buy used tv's are display models that are on for many hours a day and show the same display video non stop. This can cause burn in or a kind of ghosting. I used to appreciate a good display deal on a best buy tv, but with OLED's, used TV's are not necessarily a good deal.in general OLED tv's are consumable products that need to be replaced every few years, so a used display may or may not work depending on how long you expect the TV to last. I like keep my TV's a long time if they don't break so OLED's are off the list.

I've looked at the 48" a few times and been tempted. 55 might be too big for how close i would be to it. But for the price its pretty tempting!

I believe that open box and display models are two different things.....but i could be totally wrong.

Dang it, spent 60 bucks more for this 2 months ago. You can check the number of hours of usage in the Samsung app if you're concerned about floor models. They absolutely do sell floor models as open box and the quality and condition varies wildly

Not all open boxes are display models but bestbuy does sell display models as open boxes.

text and browsing is fine but issue is every couple days it needs some pixel cleaning for five minutes so if you are running late and expecting to login in asap then have two monitors!Big Grin
