Please don't purchase this for mosquito control. Mosquitos aren't attracted in the least to the UV light. You'll be watching all of the beneficial insects being zapped some of which eat mosquitos all while scratching your mosquito bites.

I don't have this one but i have 2 similar ones from different brands. One works well on all insects, even mosquitos. The other one does absolutely nothing to anything other then putting out a pretty blue/purple looking color.

This electric bug zapper operates on 110 volts and comes with a 2 foot power cord. It is recommended to use an extension cord of appropriate gauge to avoid voltage drop, as per the product manual.

At least it did not recommend poolside, outdoor hot tubs, jacuzzis.

seems the skeeters attracted to mine, it get packed with dead mosquitoes.

Flowtron bug zappers seem to work best on amazon. never tried this one

have you tried Flowtron, seems to work in the worst of places like Florida. i have one that gets packed with skeeters. amazon carries them

i don't use ANY mosquito attractant: Zero.

yet i get Boat loads of dead mosquitoes when the skeeters infest are heavy. just quoting my experience with these things and the best brand i found that actually works is Flowtron that amazon sells.

i got one at the Big Box and it didn't do anything. stick with the winner: Flowtron, works for me.
