Not sure if OP or this WalMart one for $5 more is a better deal.

Walmart appears to be the same model but with Lunar Lake (though Core Ultra 7 vs Ultra 9), and 32GB vs 16GB memory.

According to benchmark, Intel core ultra 7 258v is a better buy even though it got less core and threads.

258V is a generation newer and uses considerably less power. Compared directly to the 185H, it has fewer cores and no hyperthreading (really, Intel? still playing these games?), but is ultimately still the better CPU unless you need outright CPU performance all the time (GPU is a different story, the 258V seems outright better but worst case it's at the very least on par — although nobody buys these for their GPUs).

I'm keeping an eye out for a small 14" on the go rig and if I was willing to spend in this range currently (waiting for a refurb), I'd pick the 258V. I really don't need 32GB of RAM, but it is of course nice to have it at essentially the same price, in a rig that should get meaningfully longer battery life for most battery-powered use cases.

The real question tho is.. GLOSSY vs MATTE? Biggrin2

Edit: another con for both of these is that the display seems to be 60Hz. I'll be looking for a 120Hz VRR OLED display in 2025.
