I disagree!....it should be available for at least 2-3 days, not just a few hours! It's actually kind of abusive! They do this intentionally, so that a certain percentage of customers miss out (since they can't redeem it within a few hours). No other restaurant chain plays these manuplative games! Only Taco Bell!
Yes they do. Tuesday is a slow day and they want to drum up some business today.
But why do all that when you could just put a redeemable offer in the app like other chains?
Because it costs them money to sell stuff at a loss, so they want to mitigate the loss. Before when they had an offer, you had to order stuff right away. Now with these codes, you have rest of the day to order once you got it.
What do you suggest "bots" are going to do with them?Shall I expect a flood of "Used, like new" Nachos Bell Grande on marketplace? And, no, i am not a bot and, yes, I got the deal.
"Bee boo bop...human, we are now made with gastric stomachs to better blend in with human society. Please watch Terminator where T-800s have human skin that sweats like human skin does to better infiltrate. Thank you."

Really?? Provide some proof of another chain restaurant that makes a deal available for such a brief period of time and then limits your opportunity to procure it (to only a few hours on the very same day, which is manipulative and abusive)! You can't!....and therefore, you have no argument! Perhaps you needed to read my comment more carefully.

You're likely correct....but it might be former, disgruntled employees or just pranksters in this particular case (aka, aholes)!
On the other hand, let's not disregard that it could be just more manipulation games on the part of Taco Bell, and that 30K of these didn't exist in the first place! Chances are that's the real problem here!

That immediate order nonsense was just plain idiotic! They seem to have hired someone with a functioning brain to finally figure that out!....but it still sucks to have to deal with this abusive crap! They seem to be too stupid to realize that, the more customers that receive the deal, the more customers end up making additional purchases from them that day!
It's not rocket science, Taco Bell! It's just simple common sense!....which they obviously don't have!

Or, they are trying a new strategy, fear of missing out (FOMO). But yeah, I see no point in doing that because their competitors are offering $1 deals like Freddy's did and like McDonald's will, with their $1 Egg McMuffin. Then again, Taco Bell is raising prices, which is a sign that they are losing customers and they are trying to compensate for that by having their current customer base, pay for that loss. In the future, I am thinking they are going to have to close down locations. Thank the people in Irvine, CA in collaboration with the people in Louisville (Yum Brands, who I know not to be the brightest people).
