The G85SD was previously FP'd for $650 w/ a 1080p monitor at Samsung. Though this deal is ~$94 more, it includes now a 4K monitor that does VERY well on SD, and was previously FP'd for $170 at Best Buy. Additionally, some accounts may see in the Shop Samsung app an extra $50 discount.

not a good deal. the oled monitor has been down to $500s and the 27 inch to $180-200. you are basically getting force to buy both and not getting a great deal on the combo

The lowest I see it for is $639?

That puts the 4K monitor at $107 which is $63 less than the previous FP deal(s)?

me too, burn in on an OLED for productivity is nearly guaranteed. Also oled does not get that bright.

I'm thinking of getting a 5k2k monitor. that way i dont loose vertical real estate vs a wqhd. This monitor has a good price to performance.

Dell has a 5k2k 120hz monitor but thats $1500

I'm wondering if you experienced burn in. I use this monitor daily for work and play and have 0 burn in. Just be a responsible oled user, change content no static images

Yeah I have the Alienware 32" OLED and deal hunt during the day (windows taskbar enabled) and game at night full screen and no burn in since the monitor released January 2024. I do turn the monitor off if I'm stepping away for even 3 or 4 minutes (or put a youtube video full screen)

This monitor sucks for work and dual pc setup, it only has 1 DP port. It's hard switching between each source and waking up the monitor. Please buy a different monitor if you're planning on using it for work and to game.

Much less than in years past. I've used this monitor 6 of 7 days out of the week for 8+ hours per day as a programmer since early August, with another 6 or so hours per week as a COD player. Certainly not the longest term review, but my unit has not even a hint of burn in (just checked two days ago after seeing the Monitors Unboxed long term QD OLED review video). This monitor has a number of burn in mitigation settings that help equalize brightness, shift pixels, etc. I was leery of this as well, but I'm real world usage, burn in severity and risk seems to be exaggerated these days. On the other hand, this thing is absolutely bonkers for gaming and for watching movies, especially if you watch things in anamorphic widescreen which fills the display. I've had a great experience with this monitor.

How so? It includes a remote with a button that directly allows you to switch sources (the settings button with the 123 on it). You can turn the monitor on and switch sources in less than 5 seconds. This is my main monitor and serves dual purpose for work and gaming as mentioned above and I find it really simplistic and effective to use for both.
